This is an excellent lotion bar! I have eczema, and have been struggling with it spreading on my temples for a few months, but using this bar helped it finally settle back down. I’ve been putting it on every morning, and it lasts all day (so long as I don’t wear anything that rubs against it). This is just a guess, but I believe the beeswax helps form a light protective barrier that lingers (if it doesn’t get rubbed off), while the rest of the ingredients soak into skin. So this might also be a good alternative to using things like Vaseline to protect skin, and the same applies to the lip balm.
The bar I got has a butterfly design (different from the photos of the different bars on the site), so I assume there are multiple neat molds they use to form these. The bar itself only smells very faintly of its ingredients if you’re deliberately sniffing at it, and doesn’t smell at all once it’s on, so it’s nice and unobtrusive. (I’m curious what the scented ones smell like, though, so I’ll be getting one of those once I use up this one!)
